February 11, 2010 - Barnstable - A Barnstable teenager is facing charges after the car he was driving crashed into a utility pole early Saturday morning. As the Cape Cod Times reports, 18-year-old Jeremiah Wallace has been charged with driving to endanger, in addition to charges related to having alcohol as an underage minor.
Wallace was driving a Honda Civic on Patriot Way in Barnstable around 5 a.m. when the car veered off the road and hit the pole. Two passengers in the car suffered serious personal injuries, but Wallace was unharmed. Police have not said if speed was a factor in the car crash, but they did note that they found unopened alcohol in the vehicle. The victims' conditions are currently unknown and their identities have not yet been released.
We send our best wishes to the unidentified victims as they recover from their personal injuries. It would be in the best interest of the victims' families to contact an experienced Massachusetts personal injury attorney.
