The car accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Initial reports from the scene indicate that only one car, a minivan, was involved in a rollover, although police have not yet determined what caused the crash.
One person was killed in the rollover accident, although their identity has not yet been released. Another person suffered serious personal injuries. Both victims were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital after the single vehicle crash, which occurred on Alford Street (also known as Route 99).
