Driver in Intensive Care After I-93 Crash
February 5, 2010 - Salem - A male driver who crashed his car on I-93 South on Wednesday is still in intensive care at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
According to reports in The Eagle Tribune, Mark Cornetta was driving his Mazda sedan on I-93 between Exit 1 and the Massachusetts border around 8:15 p.m. when he lost control of his car, which then left the road and crashed into some nearby trees. Witnesses to the car accident told police they saw Cornetta driving erractically at high speeds just before the car crash took place.
Cornetta was originally taken to Lawrence General Hospital then transferred by helicopter to Brigham and Women's Hospital. The car accident is still under investigation by local police.
We sincerely hope that Mark Cornetta makes a quick and complete recovery form his injuries.
