Driver Injured in Charlton Truck Rollover

February 25, 2010 - Charlton - The driver of a sander truck suffered personal injuries on Tuesday when his truck rolled over. According to reports in the Worcester Telegram, the victim was driving on Route 20 when a problem with his brakes caused him to lose control of the truck, which then overturned on the roadway.

Police have not identified the driver of the truck, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the rollover accident. It is currently unknown if he was treated at a hospital. When the truck overturned, the truck spilled sand on the road and caused traffic delays on Route 20 for several hours.

Truck Accident Liability Issues

In such cases, it is always in the victims' best interest to contact an experienced SouthCoast, Massachusetts personal injury lawyer, who can analyze all aspects of the incident, identify the negligent parties and hold them accountable. If a product defect or mechanical malfunction is suspected, it is always a good idea to preserve the crashed vehicle, unaltered so it can be examined by an expert carefully for product defects, mechanical malfunction and other evidence.
