February 11, 2010 - Walpole - A single-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning resulted in injuries to one Walpole resident. According to the Patriot Ledger, 25-year-old Joseph Digiantommaso was injured when he crashed his car on Route 1 shortly after 1 a.m.
Digiantommaso was driving a Toyota Tercel when the car hit a guardrail and then caught fire. He was transported to Norwood Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, where his condition is currently unknown. Walpole police are still investigating the car accident, and they have not said what caused the car to crash into a guardrail.
We send our best wishes to Joseph Digiantommaso as he recovers from his personal injuries. Please keep him in your thoughts. In any single-vehicle accident, it's imperative to contact an experienced Massachusetts personal injury attorney, who can determine if there was a dangerous condition on the roadway or a fault with the vehicle. If so, the injured may be able to file a civil lawsuit against those responsible, which would help the victim pay medical bills.
