Hit and Run Victim Apprehends Drunk Driver in Brookline

March 24, 2010 - Brookline - The victim in a hit-and-run accident in Brookline apprehended the driver who caused the crash. According to reports at The Boston Channel, 31-year-old Bonnie McCullough was intoxicated when she crashed into a car on Bayard Street.

The car she hit was parked at the time of the accident, but the victim was inside the vehicle during the crash. After the collision, Bonnie McCullough fled the scene, but the victim was able to start his car and pursue her until she stopped on John Street in Brookline. The victim called police, who later arrested McCullough for drunk driving. She told the police she had consumed several alcoholic beverages before the car crash.

Police have not released the name of the victim, but it appears he did not suffer any serious personal injuries in this hit-and-run accident. There is currently no word on when Bonnie McCullough is due in court to answer the charges filed against her.
