I-93 Accident Victim is Improving at Lahey Clinic

February 26, 2010 - Tewksbury - A man who was injured in a fatal car accident on Tuesday is improving at a local hospital. As The Eagle Tribune reports, 35-year-old Miguel Ortiz-Calderon is now listed in good condition at Lahey Clinic. Ortiz-Calderon suffered serious personal injuries when he hit a car that had gone out of control on I-93 North.

The driver of that car, 22-year-old Monique Forster, was killed in the car crash, which occurred shortly after 1 a.m. The head-on collision was particularly severe, but police have still not said what caused Forster to lose control of her car, but they continue to investigate.
