Route 190 Rollover Accident Kills One
March 1, 2010 - Worcester - A Clinton resident is dead after a tragic single-vehicle accident on Route 190 in Worcester. According to reports at TheBostonChannel.com, 61-year-old Carl Runberg was killed after he lost control of his car, which then crashed into a guardrail and rolled over. The fatal car accident occurred shortly after midnight on Monday.
Runberg was treated at UMass Hospital, but his injuries were too severe. Police believe that speed may be a factor in this tragic car accident, and they note that Runberg was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Route 190 was closed for several hours while police investigated this single-vehicle accident.
