SUV Rollover Accident in Yarmouth Traps Driver
March 17, 2010 - Yarmouth - A serious car accident in Yarmouth on Tuesday afternoon has caused an unknown number of personal injuries. According to reports at The Cape Cod Times, a Ford Explorer was traveling westbound on Route 6 when it hit another vehicle and rolled over into the median. The car accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to initial police reports, the driver of the Explorer was trapped in the vehicle and first responders requested additional tools to free him or her from the SUV. The Explorer was lying on its hood against several trees in the median of Route 6.
Multiple vehicles were involved in this serious rollover accident, but details on these cars are not currently available. Police have not said how many injuries or fatalities resulted from this accident, but additional information will be added if and when it becomes available. The other drivers and the driver of the SUV have not yet been identified, and police have not said what caused this rollover crash.
