
February 9, 2009 - Mattapan - An unidentified 13-year-old boy is receiving treatment for personal injuries at Boston Medical Center after he was hit by a car while crossing the street in a crosswalk. According to The Boston Globe, the pedestrian accident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Monday.
The boy was walking on a crosswalk at the intersection of Babson and Norfolk streets when he was hit by an unidentified driver. The boy, who is a student at Mildred Avenue Middle School, suffered serious injuries, but he is expected to survive. Police are not expected to charge the driver in this serious pedestrian accident.
