Toyota Recall Expands to 9 Million Cars Worldwide
February 5, 2010 - Nagoya, Japan - The President of Toyota apologized in a press conference on Friday for the widespread gas pedal and brake issues that have resulted in the recall of over 9 million Toyota vehicles worldwide.
The recent recalls affect a variety of Toyota vehicles and inlcude several different types of defects, such as sticking accelerator pedals, floor mats that could could entangle pedal use, and the most recent issue involving the anti-lock brake system in the Toyota Prius.
