Wrongful Bank Foreclosure

When can a bank seize my home?

Transcript:

Lockouts by a bank are only legal when the property has been abandoned or when there is a legitimate danger to the property.

What exactly constitutes abandonment?

There has to be clear evidence that the property has been abandoned by you. Going away for a long weekend is not abandonment, even moving out of the house to sell it is not abandonment. There has to be an intent to no longer own the property to constitute abandonment.
