February 17, 2010 - Bourne - Winter weather in Massachusetts has been blamed for a number of car accidents on Tuesday, including a rollover crash on Route 28A. According to reports at ABC6.com, the unidentified male victim was driving a Jeep when he hit slick roads and lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep hit a tree and guardrail before coming to a stop on the side of the road.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was treated at Falmouth Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe weather was a factor in the rollover accident, as the temperatures were barely above freezing when the accident happened shortly after 7 a.m. The victim's condition is currently unknown.
We send our thoughts and best wishes to the unidentified victim. We hope he makes a full recovery after this serious car accident. In any single-vehicle car accident, it's always a good idea to contact an experienced Massachusetts personal injury attorney right away. The right injury lawyer can ensure that there was no negligence involved on the part of the city or county, who are tasked with keeping the roads safe during winter storms.
