
February 29, 2010 - Framingham - A local woman suffered serious personal injuries on Friday when she was hit by a car on Everitt Avenue, according to reports in the MetroWest Daily News. The pedestrian victim, who has yet to be identified by police, was on the side of the road, talking to a driver in another car, when a van struck her and tore off the stationary vehicle's door. After hitting the victim, the driver of the van fled the scene.
The victim suffered leg and back injuries, and she was taken to a local hospital, where she's expected to survive. The driver of the stationary vehicle was not injured. Police are looking for a white or tan van that was driving on Everitt Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. If you have any information, you're asked to call Framingham Police at 508-872-1212.
