Massachusetts Underinsured/Uninsured Drivers and Injury Claims (Part A)

This has been a tough year in Massachusetts, both in the economy and in terms of the treacherous winter weather. Sadly, as people struggle to pay their bills and mortgage payments, there's a greater risk that if you are involved in a Massachusetts car accident, the other driver might be an underinsured or even uninsured motorist.

Let's say you were seriously injured in a car accident, and you lose $20,000 in wages during your downtime from your injuries in addition to paying out $20,000 in medical bills. If an underinsured driver only has $15,000 in liability coverage, you've been hurt twice.
